‘Don’t get on that stage!’ Patti LuPone suggests Kim Kardashian is taking a job away from a professional actor by appearing on American Horror Story
Patti LuPone has a bone to pick with Kim Kardashian for joining the cast of American Horror Story.
The Broadway icon, 74, who has appeared on American Horror Story, shed light on why she’s not happy Kim landed a role on the series during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live.
When the topic of Kim’s new role was raised, Patti said she believed the reality star was taking a job away from a professional actor.
Patti and John Leguizamo, 62, who was also a guest on the show, weighed in on the issue while playing a game called ‘Do They Give A Damn’.
‘Do you give a damn that Kim Kardashian is acting in season 12 of American Horror Story?’ host Andy Cohen asked.

Patti was unable to hide her displeasure as she replied through gritted teeth: ‘Yes I do!’
‘You don’t like it, do you?’ Andy asked. ‘No I don’t!’ Patti replied.
‘Why, because she’s taking a role away from,’ Andy began before Patti chimed in, ‘actors.’
‘Excuse me, excuse me, Kim,’ she continued before conjuring the song Mrs. Worthington, a track about a mother determined to get her daughter into acting.
‘What are you doing with your life? Don’t get on the stage, Mrs. Worthington,’ Patti added.
John concurred when asked for his thoughts on the topic: ‘Whatever she said, I double the emotion!’
Kim announced her new role earlier this month, dropping a teaser trailer to her Instagram account.

The ominous clip did not picture Kim but it had eerie music with the words: ‘AHS12. Emma Roberts and Kim Kardashian are delicate. This summer.’
The mother of four, 42, simply captioned the short clip with eyes emoji and a drop of blood emoji.
The clip showed a hint of a women’s figure in the background but it is unknown if it was supposed to represent her or Emma.
Kim did not disclose in what capacity or if she is playing herself, however The Hollywood Reporter revealed details soon after the star shared the announcement.
The outlet revealed that the show’s 12th season will be called Delicate, and will be based on Danielle Valentine’s upcoming novel called Delicate Condition.

The book is about a woman who is convinced someone sinister is making sure her pregnancy doesn’t happen.
The outlet reported that the season will be written by Halley Feiffer, who will also serve as the showrunner.
In a statement to THR, AHS co-creator Ryan Murphy said: ‘Kim is among the biggest and brightest television stars in the world and we are thrilled to welcome her to the AHS family.’
Adding: ‘Emma and I are excited about collaborating with this true force in the culture. Halley Feiffer has written a fun, stylish and ultimately terrifying role especially for Kim, and this season is ambitious and unlike anything we have ever done.’
Emma previously starred on AHS from 2013 until 2019 during season three, season four, season seven and season eight; she played Madison Montgomery, Maggie Esmerelda, Serena Belinda, and Brooke Thompson.
