Photos of Angelina Jolie’s alleged bruises from Brad Pitt during flight on board plane revealed

Photographs have emerged of bruises on Angelina Jolie's hand that were allegedly sustained during an altercation with her ex-husband Brad Pitt on board a flight in 2016.

The 47 year old Oscar-winning actress submitted the images to the FBI as part of their investigation into the alleged "verbal and physical fight" that took place between the former in front of their children aboard a private jet from France to Los Angeles on 14 September 14.

The grainy black and white images appear to show bruising on Angelina's hand and elbow, injuries that she claims she sustained as Brad "grabbed her shoulders and shook her while yelling 'you're 'f*****g up this family'," according to FBI reports.

Documents seen by several news outlets detail the alleged fight, in which it is claimed that world-famous actor Brad "grabbed her by her head" and shook her before allegedly punching the ceiling of the plane four times.

It's also claimed that a now-teetotal Brad drank "multiple drinks" on the flight and took issue with Angelina's parenting style, including saying that one of her children "looked like a f**king Columbine kid."

His alleged comments are believed to be in reference to the Columbine High School massacre in 1999, where 12th grade students Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold murdered 12 children and a teacher.

The documents also allege that Angelina ended up attempting to get Brad in a "chokehold" from behind, after fearing he was "going to attack" one of their children, according to PageSix.

Angelina claimed that, as a result of her actions, Brad slammed his body back – with her behind him – which caused her to slam into some chairs and, according to Angelina, caused injuries to her back and a "'rug-burn type wound' on her hand.

Angelina – who was recently named as the 'Jane Doe' who submitted the claims – alleges that when the plane landed, Brad told her: "You’re not f**king going anywhere. You’re not getting off this f**k plane. F**k you all. I’m f*****g leaving you."

Brad denies all of Angelina's claims.

In its final report on the investigation, the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services concluded that Brad did not physically abuse any of his children. He was also cleared by the FBI of any wrongdoing.

Maleficent star Angelina went on to file for divorce four days after the alleged incident, on 19 September, 2016, citing "irreconcilable differences".

The former Hollywood power couple have since been embroiled in a bitter custody spat over their six children: Maddox, 21, Pax, 18, Zahara, 17, who are adopted, and biological children, Shiloh, 16, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 14.

Brad and Angelina famously met on the set of 2005 hit film Mr & Mrs Smith, in which they played a married couple who were both assassins – unbeknownst to each other.

Brad was married to Friends star Jennifer Anniston at the time, but they went on to divorce in 2005.
