But newly pregnant Britney Spearsmade sure to keep fans guessing as she posed naked on social media – using her adorable dog Sawyer as a bump cover-up.
The pregnant star, 40, hid her stomach area by cuddling the pup to her front as she beamed at the camera in the cheeky snaps, wearing nothing but jewellery and makeup with a diamond emoji covering her behind.
The Baby One More Time singer is expecting her first child with fiancé Sam Asghari, 28. Britney isalready a mumto Sean, 16, and Jayden, 15, with her ex Kevin Federline.
The star made herpregnancy announcementon social media last month, revealing that she and Sam initially believed the change in her weight was down to eating a lot on holiday.
"I lost so much weight to go on my Maui trip only to gain it back. I thought “Geez … what happened to my stomach ???," Britney wrote in an Instagram post.
She continued: "My husband said “No you’re food pregnant silly!!!” So I got a pregnancy test … and uhhhhh well … I am having a baby … 4 days later I got a little more food pregnant."
Messages of congratulations poured in for the star, as she added that she planned to "do yoga every day" throughout the pregnancy.
Britney and fitness trainer Sam have been together since 2016, after meeting on the set of the singer's Slumber Party music video.
The heartwarming news came after being released from herconservatorship. Britney revealed as she appeared in court that she was prevented from getting married or having a baby while locked in the court appointed guardianship.
A source told OK!about Britney’s surprise news: “It’s surreal she has fallen pregnant just after coming out of the conservatorship, it’s all come at the right time. It’s the best ending she could ask for.”
Fiancé Sam posted a touching message on Instagram after Britney made the announcement: “Fatherhood is something I have always looked forward to and I don’t take it lightly. It is the most important job I will ever do.”
Britney and Sam have sent the rumour mill into overdrive recently afterreferring to each otheras “husband” and “wife” across their social media posts.
Sources say that the loved-up couple will tie the knot at a “dream wedding” after the baby is born. A source close to the star told Hollywood Life: “Britney and Sam are being playful with each other, and they are not married.
"She is going to wait until after she has the baby to focus on that and she will have 9 months to plan her dream wedding now. Sam and Britney have been calling each other husband and wife since they got engaged.”
Britney alsogave fans a glimpseof her baby bump as she modelled several outfits in a series of Instagram snaps last month, saying that she had to make the most of her clothes “before I really start showing”.
