Princess Charlotte’s sweet gesture to brother George as they spot dad William on stage

The Waleses' children have stolen the show this weekend as they carried out their public appearances with aplomb.

On Sunday night, nine year old Prince George and Princess Charlotte, eight, joined their mother and father, the Prince and Princess of Wales, for the Coronation Concert at Windsor Castle.

Charlotte was wearing a white dress with frilled Peter Pan collar and bow but later put on a white coat over the top when the temperature dropped, while George was in a suit and tie just like William.

At one special part of the concert, Charlotte made a very sweet gesture to her older brother.

As the Prince of Wales appeared on stage, Charlotte, who is "very tired" after the Coronation ceremony yesterday, perked up immediately, looking excited and gesturing to her brother to look at their dad, pointing over to the stage.

However, George didn't seem as bothered as his younger sister

Royal fans took to Twitter to gush over the adorable moment, with one person writing: "Princess Charlotte nudging her brother as well. Super adorable."

Another said: "Whatever your thoughts on the Royal Family, you can’t fail to find Princess Charlotte joyfully pointing out her father to her brother when he appeared on stage incredibly heartwarming. A reminder that the key word in Royal Family is family #CoronationConcert."

One person expressed what they imagined the young princess might have said, writing: "Charlotte: 'George, wake up, dad's on stage!'"

Prince William took to the stage to deliver a tribute to deliver a touching tribute to his “Pa”.

Elsewhere in the evening, sibling duo George and Charlotte danced the night away at the Coronation Concert.

The youngsters stood with the rest of the royal box, including the King and Queen, and moved to the sound of Lionel Richie’s hit All Night Long and Take That’s anthems.

Singing along, Charlotte and George waved their flags enthusiastically and swayed in time to the music.

The princess also sang the words to Katy Perry’s Roar and Firework, as the US singer took to the stage in a shiny gold metallic ball gown.

Ahead of Take That’s finale, Kermit the Frog joined the Windsors in the royal box.

The Muppet, dressed in a smart suit and tie, bounced on the spot and waved his flag in front of the Duke of Edinburgh.

It was a special late night out for the Prince and Princess of Wales’s two eldest children after a busy day on Saturday at their grandfather’s coronation.

Like the rest of the 20,000-strong crowd, they wore flashing LED wristbands.

George and William were seen smiling and laughing together as they enjoyed the show.

Five-year-old Prince Louis was not at the concert, with the late-night show starting past his bedtime.
