Richard Madeley is back home in London following a short stint in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!. The 65-year-old had to leave the show after seeking medical attention outside the camp, which meant he had broken the Covid bubble. The presenter later released a statement telling fans he was “absolutely fine” after feeling “briefly unwell”.
Today, he seemed pleased to be back to his home comforts in London where he lives with wife Judy Finnigan.
Richard sported casual attire consisting of a white jumper and jeans as he stood outside his house this afternoon.
The presenter also didn’t wait around to catch up with the calories he missed out on as he tucked into McDonald’s with his daughter Chloe and son Jack last night.
Chloe shared a snap of a burger and chips from the fast food chain, writing: “He’s home.”
Following his exit from the show, a spokesperson explained: “Our strict Covid protocols means Richard has sadly had to leave the show as he is no longer in the bubble the celebrities form when entering the castle.
“He has been a truly brilliant campmate and we thank him for being part of this series.”
After sparking concerns with his health, Chloe wrote on Instagram: “Thank you for all your lovely messages.
“Dad’s absolutely fine, we’ve been speaking to him all day and ultimately, he’s just livid he can’t go back into camp because of Covid restrictions.
“He did himself proud though. He worked hard and was his calm, collected, kind and funny self.”
She added the family were proud of him.
