Robbie Williams’ wife Ayda Field reveals that their four children fly economy while couple sit in first class: ‘There’s no interest in raising brats’
Ayda Field has revealed that her and her husband Robbie Williams have very strict rules with their children when travelling.
The actress, 44, and the singer, 49, sit first class whenever they take a flight, but make their four children fly economy.
The married couple are parents to daughter Teddy, 11, son Charlie, nine, daughter Coco, five and three-year-old son Beau.
Ayda explained that she and Robbie sit apart from their kids to encourage them to learn that first class is a privilege that they have not earned, and don’t get to sit there until they can pay for it themselves.
Speaking to The Sunday Times, she said: ‘My kids fly economy whenever we fly. I turn left and they turn right. That’s terrible. I mean, people will think I’m such a d***.

‘There’s no interest in raising brats. My kids will know [economy] is where they will sit in a plane until they can pay to put themselves in a different part of the plane.’
Robbie and Ayda aren’t the only parents with strict views on how to raise their children not to be typical nepo-babies.
Gordon Ramsay has also been very open about his tough stance on parenting rules, also refusing to allow his kids to travel first class with him.
Speaking to The Telegraph in 2017, he said: ‘They don’t sit with us in first class. They haven’t worked anywhere near hard enough to afford that.
‘At that age, at that size, you’re telling me they need to sit in first class? No, they do not. We’re really strict on that.
‘I turn left with Tana and they turn right and I say to the chief stewardess, “Make sure those little f******don’t come anywhere near us, I want to sleep on this plane”.
‘I worked my f***ing a**e off to sit that close to the pilot and you appreciate it more when you’ve grafted for it.’
In an interview with the Financial Times later that year, he reaffirmed his position and also condemned other parents who sit in first class alongside their kids, saying only a ‘muppet’ would fork out ’15 f****** grand a ticket’.

Gordon explained: ‘I said to the kids, “Every single person you see on that plane, you’re going to see at the carousel. You’re not getting to LA any quicker. Do you have any idea what you can do with that money after you get off that plane?”‘
He has also revealed that he won’t let his six children eat at his Michelin star restaurants.
He said: ‘Last time we went to Royal Hospital Road [his restaurant in Chelsea] was for Megan’s 16th birthday, and that was the first time we’ve ever eaten there with the kids.
‘They have served the Chelsea pensioners there for Christmas lunch, but not eaten there.’
Gordon has also said that none of his kids would be inheriting his multi-million pound fortune and that aside from giving them a 25 per cent deposit for property, he wants them to work hard for their money.
Gordon has six children with his wife Tana; Megan, 25, twins Jack and Holly, 23, Tilly, 22, Oscar, four and newborn son Jesse.
