Sir Rod Stewart’s daughter Ruby Stewart has told the star’s fans that she is the lucky recipient of his prized record collection. Ruby revealed that after she showed a passion for collecting vinyl records when she was 15-years-old, her dad gifted her his treasured collection.
The family revelation comes after Ruby took over the Maggie May hitmaker’s Instagram page in view of his 474,000 followers this evening
She revealed in a video: “I am obsessed with vinyl. I think I have over 200.
“I’ve been collecting since I was fifteen.
“My dad introduced me to it. He also gave me his record collection.”
Ruby’s chat with her dad’s fans comes after Rod, who has just released his new five LP vinyl boxset of songs from 1975 to 1978, asked her and her dog Ziggy to announce his new project.
According to The Daily Record, the record features classics including Atlantic Crossing (1975), A Night on the Town (1976), Footloose & Fancy Free (1977), and Blondes Have More Fun (1978).
It also includes a fifth LP of previously unreleased studio outtakes for Rod’s fans to enjoy.

He shares 28-year-old daughter Renee and son Liam, 26, with his ex-wife Rachel Hunter, Kimberly and Sean with first wife Alana, and daughters Ruby and Sarah from past relationships
He also shares Alastair, 12, and Aiden, 10, with wife Penny Lancaster.
