Sarah Harding has sadly died at the age of 39 following a battle with cancer. The Girls Aloud singer was diagnosed with advanced breast cancer last August and underwent a mastectomy and chemotherapy in a bid to prolong her life.
Sarah’s mum confirmed the heartbreaking news in an Instagram post via the singer’s official account.
She explained that the Girls Aloud died peacefully in her sleep at home today.
In an emotional tribute, she penned: “It’s with deep heartbreak that today I’m sharing the news that my beautiful daughter Sarah has sadly passed away.
“Many of you will know of Sarah’s battle with cancer and that she fought so strongly from her diagnosis until her last day.
