Scott Disick will return to season three of The Kardashians after he was lured in by a ‘massive contract’ following months of doubt over whether he would continue appearing on the hit reality show.
DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal that the 39-year-old former flame of Kourtney Kardashian will be featured in ‘several episodes’ of the upcoming season – but has made clear to producers that he cannot be portrayed as ‘the villain’ in his ex-girlfriend’s storyline with her new husband Travis Barker.
‘Scott filmed for the show last week after inking a massive contract to be in the upcoming season,’ a source close to Scott says. ‘He was initially against coming back bc he didn’t want be the villain in Kourtney and Travis’s storyline.’
Scott’s grief over ex Kourtney, 43, getting prepared to wed her now-husband Travis Barker, 47, was a prominent part of season one – something that prompted the father-of-three to take a major step back for the following season, in which he was only featured in one episode.

Scott had his first interaction with Kravis at the end of season one when he was invited to Kourtney’s birthday at Kris’s house – where he witnessed the couple kissing in front of him
His absence sparked a slew of speculation over whether Scott had quit the Kardashian family’s reality TV empire once and for all – however a source close to the star says that he has made the decision to return for the sake of his followers.
‘He felt that he owed it to his fans and knew that they wanted to see him back on the show again, at least for one more season,’ the insider added.
After signing a lucrative deal to return under the guidance of family matriarch Kris Jenner, 67, Scott decided to jump back on board for the third installment.
‘Scott is in a very good place right now and he is a devoted father to his children with Kourtney,’ the source continued.
Scott starred alongside his on-again, off-again girlfriend Kourtney for 14 years in their original reality show on E! Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which ran for 20 seasons – from 2007 until 2021.
During their rise to fame on KUWTK, fans became invested in their lives, as well as the lives of their three children born during their rise to fame – Mason, 13, Penelope, 10, and Reign, eight.
In November 2013, Scott’s beloved mother Bonnie died. Three months later, in January 2014, his father Jeffrey died. As a result, the Kardashian’s took Scott in as their own and called him ‘part of their family.’
After the passing of his parents, Scott turned to drugs and alcohol to cope with the loss.
Scott and Kourtney hosted a party in Las Vegas in July 2013 and their love was strong. Several months later, Scott lost both of his parents, which caused his life to spiral out of control

Two years after they split in 2015, Kourtney and Scott went on a family vacation to Costa Rica in 2017 – leading many to believe that they were getting back together
His partying escalated and he checked himself into rehab in 2014 and 2015. He tried to stay sober after treatment, but he suffered another relapse, which landed him in rehab again in 2020.
In June 2021, Kourtney – along with her entire family, as well as Scott – sat down with Andy Cohen for a KUWTK reunion. During the two-part special, Kourtney was asked if her relationship with Scott would have turned out differently if she ‘hadn’t shared so much of him.’
Kourtney responded, ‘I think the substance abuse was the deal-breaker.’ Scott nodded his head in agreeance, telling Andy, ‘I was pretty irresponsible.’
When KUWTK ended in 2021, the Kardashian and Jenner’s had already had a plan in place to ensure that they would remain on-air, ending their long-time deal with E! and moving their show to streaming platform Hulu.
The Kardashians premiered in April 2022 and included the original cast, including Scott.
Kourtney and Travis’s love story was a huge part of the first season. Travis’s romantic proposal to Kourtney on the beach in Montecito – which had taken place prior to the show’s premiere, in October 202 – drew in a ton of viewers.
For Scott, who believed that he was going to end up with Kourtney after turning his life around, the Kourtney and Travis (nicknamed Kravis) storyline was too much to handle – and his bitterness over being excluded from family events as a result of their relationship became a key part of the show’s storyline.
In one of the first episodes of The Kardashians, Scott had a heart-to-heart with Khloe Kardashian, 38, telling her that he’d always believed he and Kourtney would reunite because so many of their family and friends and told him as much.

However he insisted that he still wanted to be a part of the family – even if it meant having to spend time with Kourtney and Travis.
The Kardashians decided to test it and see if Scott could be around Kravis without any drama occurring. In a May 2022 episode, Kris extended an olive branch and invited Scott to Kourtney’s birthday party at her new mansion in Calabasas.
When he arrived at the party, he tried to make things cool by congratulating Kourtney and Travis on their recent engagement, while hugging them as soon as he walked through the door.
But things took a turn for the worse during the sit-down dinner. As the family watched on, Scott was forced to watch Kravis in a full on hardcore make-out session for the entire dinner.
He was horrified, and, in a confessional, Khloe brought up the fact that there was a ‘pink elephant’ in the room that everyone saw.
Scott did not make another appearance in the first season after the dinner episode aired.
He was also not on the invite list for Kourtney and Travis’s huge wedding in Portofino, Italy, in May 2022. Their three children were all there and were a part of their mom’s wedding party.
Strangely, Kourtney’s highly-publicized and well-documented wedding was not featured on season two of The Kardashians, despite the fact that producers insisted it would be.
Aside from the second season missing their wedding, fans were also bothered that Scott was MIA for almost the entire second season, making just one brief cameo when Kendall Jenner, 27, paid him a visit.
Following the episode, The Lord’s fans took to Twitter to share their disappointment. ‘I give this season a 2/10. bring back Scott Disick #Kardashianshulu,’ one fan wrote.
Another of Scott’s devoted followers expressed their distaste for the Scott-less show, writing, ‘The Kardashians new reality show is so boring. Bring back Scott Disick.’
After suffering a decline in ratings towards the end of the second season due, in part, to the show being filled with non-stop plugs their private ventures, Kim took to her own Twitter to gauge to ask fans what they wanted to see for season three.
Scott has had one longterm relationship after he split with Kourtney in 2015. The Lord started dating Sofia in 2017 when she was 19 years old. They split three years later in 2020

Two years after his split with Kourtney, Scott got into a relationship with Lionel Richie’s daughter, Sofia Richie. She was 19 years old at the time. Scott was in his mid-30s.
Scott and Sofia’s romance was filmed for KUWTK, and she became a series regular. Kourtney supported his relationship and became friends with Sofia, despite the huge age gap.
Scott and Sofia broke up in August 2020. According to reports, his issues with substance abuse caused their demise.
After Sofia, Scott dated Lisa Rinna, 59, and Harry Hamlin’s daughter, Amelia Hamlin, who was 19 years old when Scott wooed pursued her.
Amelia broke it off with Scott in 2021 after leaked DMs sent from Scott to Kourtney’s ex Younes Bendjima, 29, surfaced.
In the private messages that were allegedly leaked by Younes, Scott sent messages to him that poked fun and Kourtney and Travis’s love for each other.
In November 2021, Scott was spotted on a date with Brooklyn Beckham’s ex, Hanna Cross, 23. Their relationship was short lived.
In April 2022, Scott was photographed on dates with 27-year-old model, Rebecca Donaldson. That same month, he brought her as his date to the red carpet premiere of The Kardashians reality show.
Rebecca was older and more mature than his past flings, which gained the approval from his family, friends and fans. Just when things seemed to be going great, Scott and Rebecca called it quits in June 2022.
In August 2022, Scott struck up a relationship with Kimberly Stewart, 43 – daughter of the legendary rocker Rod Stewart.
Scott and Kimberly had been friends for over a decade and kept their romance super private. It is unclear if they are still dating each other.

In 2018, Talentless apparel launched with hoodies for men. On the website, which features Scott on the front, the clothing company says that it ‘strives to make fashion less complicated by developing styles that bridge the gap between luxury and lived-in comfort.’
The brand added a countless number of new items, including women’s apparel and heavyweight clothing. In May 2019, the US brand expanded to the UK. According to ATTN agency, the brand has seen a 289% year-over-year revenue lift.
In 2020, LDV USA, LLC announced that it was partnering with Scott to launch a new luxury champagne, Leo De Verzay Champagne. In October 2022, he launched the champagne company and, since then, it has also made him a fortune.
Described as ‘intense and powerful champagne that is balanced by the freshness of chardonnay,’ Scott has promoted the brand all over his social media – to the dismay of fans who question why a recovering alcoholic would launch an alcohol empire.
