He was forced to upcoming UK and European tours late last month.

But Shawn Mendes seems to have put his disappointment aside by enjoying the stunning natural beauty of Hawaii.

The 23-year-old singer–songwriter was spotted showing off his ripped physique on a shirtless stroll around an island with friends on Saturday.

Shawn looked as if he had been staying in tip-top physical condition based on his washboard abs and toned biceps. 

His shirtless look highlighted guitar and butterfly tattoos on his arms, and he wore a simple set of baggy gray sweatpants. 

The In My Blood singer also had on a pair of brown flip flops.

He appeared to have found a perfectly sized walking stick which he carried along a paved path surrounded by ferns and palm trees.

He also announced in a portion shot while he was driving that he was doing daily workouts at 9:30, which anyone in his crew was welcome to attend.

His video featured some footage of him strumming on an acoustic guitar, and he included a short segment of himself on a video chat with others in which he tried to gauge their reaction to a new melody he had written, though he cut the clip short before revealing the tune.

The singer’s fourth studio album, Wonder, was released in December 2020 and featured several joyous songs that appeared to have been influenced by his relationship with Camila Cabello. 

Although the album managed to top the Billboard 200 albums chart, it appeared to have sputtered out after its initial success and only placed at number 165 on the year-end chart, behind several years-old albums.

He beamed ear-to-ear while riding bikes amid palm trees in one snap, and he enjoyed a ride on an ATV with his friends in a short clip.

He looked serene while sitting cross-legged on a boulder in one photo, and he grinned while descending a series of steps in a forest in another snap.

The pop star was joined by his pals as they cooled off under a waterfall in black-and-white photo.
