Joss Stone has officially joined the mum club after welcoming her first child with musician boyfriend Cody DaLuz.

The singer, who announced her pregnancy in October last year, revealed the special news on Sunday night during her Cooking with Joss Facebook live session.

New mum Joss, 33, appeared alongside Cody and their daughter Violet Melissa as they gushed over the tot.

Mother and baby wore matching outfits, with Joss wearing a white dress with a leaf print, and the baby girl wearing a blanket and hat from the same material.

She said: "So I have a very special bun that I've been making for, ooh, it took about nine months, and it's cooked, it's ready!

"So here's one we made earlier," she said, before ushering in her partner with the baby.

Joss initially revealed her pregnancy on her A Cuppa Happy podcast while speaking to food writer Ella Mills, known as Deliciously Ella, who was also pregnant.

The songwriter told Ella: "Guess what? I am going to have a little baby too!

"I am so excited to talk to you because I don't know many pregnant women. I am week 17 and I just stopped being sick all the time."

Opening up about being sick in the early stages of her pregnancy, she added: "My boyfriend kept saying to me, 'Pain is temporary'.

"Temporary, it is temporary. Oh my god, it is horrible! Leave me alone! I am just going to cry."

Joss shared her fears for having to give birth to the baby and divulged: "I woke up in the middle of the night – randomly – and I was like, 'Oh my god I am really scared!'
