Sophia Bush looked elegant at the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles this weekend.
The One Tree Hill veteran flashed her diamond engagement ring as she posed with her fiancé Grant Hughes.
The brunette beauty wore a black dress that showed off her toned arms as she added bright yellow sandals and a matching Ferragamo purse with flower accents. Her hair was pulled back to show off her earrings and she added a necklace with two heart pendants.

In August she revealed she became engaged to her businessman boyfriend Hughes while on vacation in Lake Como, Italy.
‘So it turns out that being your favorite person’s favorite person is the actual best feeling on planet Earth #YES,’ she said in her Instagram caption as she shared an image.

She was seen in a brown dress as her love got down on one knee on the wood boat on Lake Como to put a ring on it. He had on a blazer with jeans.
The next day she was seen posing in a summer outfit while in Italy. ‘Turns out this whole “being engaged” thing is really, really fun,’ Bush said in her caption.

The two looked very much in love as they enjoyed taking in the sites in Como.
The couple have been dating for a year and The Hitcher actress – who was married to Chad Michael Murray from 2005 until 2006 – recently admitted she’d been to be sure about the ‘motivations’ behind tying the knot again before agreeing to it.
Speaking on the Inside of You podcast, she said: ‘I think it depends on what people’s motivations are and I want to make sure, whether it’s myself or one of my best friends, that we’re clear on what it is we’re signing up for rather than thinking we’re getting some Kate Hudson and Matt McConaughey rom-com life.
‘This notion that you’re going to meet your person and they’re going to make you so happy that you’re going to be fulfilled and you’ll never be nervous again and you’ll never ever think anyone else is hot—like what? It’s such an absurd joke.’

And when it comes to her relationship, Sophia thinks ‘radical honesty’ is vital.
She said: ‘What I am a fan of, what I am a believer in is real partnership, real intimacy that comes with radical honesty and with ground rules of always giving your partner the benefit of the doubt while asking questions, while being able to be vulnerable, admit when you’re afraid, admit when you’re being triggered by something else. You have to do a lot of work.’
In the past she has said that relationships are hard in the public eye.
‘It’s hard to have nothing that’s yours. And when you are a person who lives in the public eye, everybody wants to pick over everything and that can be really tricky,’ she told Entertainment Tonight.

‘I also grew up in the early aughts when girls were raked over the coals for any choices that they made.
‘And I just was like, I don’t think I like this. I didn’t like having my private life lied about. There were times where someone would send through an article and be like, ‘Well, supposedly you’re dating this guy.’ And I was like, ‘I mean, I would. Who is he?”
When asked about Murray by Michael Rosenbaum, Bush immediately replied: ‘Oh, I’m not going to talk about him. I’m not allowed to.’
‘I’ve tried to poke fun at being a dumb kid and whenever I’ve done that, it gets twisted into I’m talking s**t about somebody who I don’t even know anymore, who’s clearly a grown-up,’ she explained.

‘I think you have to, like, laugh at who you used to be,’ she continued. ‘But when people ask me about history that involves someone else … it’s not worth my time. It’s not a place where I harbor ill will or anything.’
Sophia also told People this weekend about her engagement: ‘It’s funny. I think when you’re an adult and you understand what mental health is and you know all of the things we have learned, as individuals, you always hear that marriage is work and it’s the best job you’ll ever have, but it requires effort.
‘And we got engaged and I looked around and said, “Why didn’t anyone tell me how sweet and pure this would be?” It’s just so sweet and it’s a time that I’m very intentionally cherishing. And you know, more adventures on the horizon.’

The sold-out event, which featured tickets ranging from $110 per person to $19,000 per group of 10, featured a polo match and picnic areas with plenty of the iconic champagne to sip.
