Amanda Holden has revealed she had lunch with US hitmaker Miley Cyrus ‘a couple of years ago.’

Speaking in an exclusive clip from Saturday’s I Can See Your Voice, the Britain’s Got Talent judge, 50, told show host Paddy McGuiness and her fellow panellists she enjoyed an unusual discussion with the US hitmaker about human anatomy.

Coyly revealing her superstar encounter, Amanda said: ‘Me and Miley Cyrus had lunch a couple of years ago. Sorry to name-drop.’

Famous friends: Amanda Holden, 50, has revealed she had lunch with Miley Cyrus, 28, ‘a couple of years ago’ and their conversation revolved around human anatomy

Amanda said: ‘Me and Miley Cyrus had lunch a couple of years ago. Sorry to name-drop. We talked about the importance of having a relaxed sternocleidomastoid muscle’

She went on: ‘We talked about the importance of having a relaxed sternocleidomastoid muscle. Your sternocleido muscle is just here [gesturing to her right shoulder].

‘And if you’ve got a tense sternocleidomastoid, that is really going to affect your vocals.’

Amanda was discussing the fact that tense neck muscles can interfere with a singer’s vocals.

I Can See Your Voice follows two players going head to head to win a cash prize by guessing if the mystery singers standing before them can or can’t sing, without hearing them perform a single note.

The blonde bombshell was guessing whether a contestant – who was exceptionally muscular – was a good singer, suggesting that his athletic build would mean he wasn’t.

When I Can See Your Voice first aired in April, viewers were left shocked by co-host Jimmy’s appearance.

Shock: Viewers of 48-year-old Jimmy Carr’s new show, I Can See Your Voice, were taken aback by the comedian’s new appearance last month

Taking to the stage for the show’s inaugural episode last month, the comedian, 48, showed off his sparkling new teeth, fuller locks and more defined facial features, leaving fans wondering: ‘Why does Jimmy Carr look so strange and different, what’s he done?’

As the show progressed, more viewers took to Twitter to express their confusion over Jimmy’s new look.

Another wrote: ‘Jimmy Carr’s face is so distracting,’ while a third quipped: ‘Surely the biggest thing to guess on #caniseeyourvoice is who’s had more work done? Amanda or Jimmy Carr.’

Sharing their thoughts: As the show progressed, more viewers took to Twitter to express their confusion over Jimmy’s new look

Jimmy has spoken candidly about the full extent of his makeover in the past.

Talking on Gabby Logan’s Midpoint podcast, Jimmy said he decided to make some tweaks to his appearance after feeling disappointed that he doesn’t look as good in real life as he does on television.

He said: ‘I got my teeth done, that’s the first thing I had done, they’re more than veneers. I got every tooth in my head done in one sitting.

New look: In June Jimmy surprised viewers by unveiling the results of his hair transplant (left) after his hair began to ‘socially distance from his forehead’ (right before the transplant in 2018)

‘I did 12 hours in the chair the first day, then 12 hours the second, it was like a three day thing where you’ve got temporary things on, it’s pretty full on.

‘I think they gave me Rohypnol intravenously into the vein and you’re kind of out of it and they do everything and you’re fine. It’s a dream-like haze, you’re in a weird space.’

Jimmy said he wants to maintain his looks rather than change them too much.

He said: ‘I think that thing of age is that people don’t really see what’s there, people are good at pattern recognition, that’s all they do, teeth and hair.

‘Maintaining is the thing, I don’t think there’s anything you can do plastic surgery wise, or augmentation wise, that makes you look better, you can just sort it stay the same, that’s what you can hope for.’

The TV personality said as well as these physical changes, he’s also been exercising lots and taking lots of protein pills and vitamins.
