Stacey Solomon shares heartwarming moment she is reunited with son Rex

Stacey Solomon has shared the heartwarming moment that she was reunited with her two year old son Rex at her £1.2million home.

The 32 year old, who recently penned a heartfelt tribute to the late Jamal Edwards, took to Instagram to share with her five million followers the sweet moment that she walked through the living room door at Pickle Cottage in Essex.

Stacey was greeted by her two year old son Rex, who she shares with fiancé Joe Swash, 40, as she opened the door while carrying four month old daughter Rose in a baby car seat.

Captioning the sweet footage, Stacey penned: "Finally home. It's been the longest week without them. But it's all for them in the end.

"I spent the whole of yesterday trying to have some time with the big boys before back to school today."

Stacey also treated herself to a bath in her gorgeous tub in her master bedroom which overlooks her sprawling garden at the country home.

However Stacey revealed the 'Insta Vs Reality' of her self care morning as Rex sang Happy Birthday while blowing out her candles before baby Rose woke from her sleep.

The Loose Women star, who is also mum to Zachary, 13, and Leighton, nine, from previous relationships, penned: "Thought I'd treat myself this morning.

"*As soon as the bath is full Rose wakes up and Rex decided to blow out my candles and sing happy birthday."

Relaxing on her sofa while cradling Rose, Stacey said: "It's so nice to be home. I know I haven't been away for months or anything but it just felt ages so it is nice to sit on the sofa.

"I am going to sort some bits out in the house today and just catch up on housework and also a couple of bits got started while I was away so I will do a little update on the pool and the kitchen and everything but I hope you are all ok. Happy Monday."

It comes after Stacey shared a photograph of music entrepreneur Jamal, son of Loose Women panelist Brenda Edwards, to her five million Instagram followers after he tragically passed away on Sunday 20 February aged 31.

She penned: "One of the greatest, kindest, most sincere and humble people I ever had the pleasure of meeting. Just devastating. My thoughts and prayers are with Brenda, Tanisha, and all of Jamal's loved ones."
