Stephen Bear asked for holiday destination suggestions hours after he was found guilty in his revenge porn trial on Tuesday.
The disgraced star, 32, was given the verdict as he was convicted on two counts of releasing sexual films of ex-girlfriend Georgia Harrison, 28, without her permission, with intent to cause distress.
Stephen, who won Celebrity Big Brother in 2016, was also convicted on one count of voyeurism, and faces up to two years in jail, an unlimited fine, or both.
His guilty verdict didn’t appear to bother him hours afterwards, as he posted his own mugshot, released by police yesterday, on Twitter, while asking followers to help him think of a holiday destination for him and his girlfriend.
Stephen’s girlfriend Jessica was seen accompanying him throughout the trial, as the former reality contestant donned a cane and cigar in a rented Rolls Royce into court daily.
Stephen now awaits sentencing which is set for January 31 next year.
He is accused of sharing footage of himself and ex Georgia, filmed on CCTV, having sex in his garden at his Essex home on August 2, 2020.
The court previously heard how Stephen and Georgia first met in 2012, before they started dating in October 2018, after appearing on MTV’s The Challenge together.
Following his guilty verdict on Tuesday, Stephen appeared to show little emotion as he stated that the press was “against him”.
He told the Court: “My barrister said not to, but it’s nothing bad. In my opinion from the very beginning, it was never a fair trial, what the press said against me.
"I was fighting a losing battle and it is what it is.”
Ex Georgia shared her relief at the verdict in a post today, as she also thanked fans for their support throughout the trial.
She wrote on Instagram Stories: “I’m so grateful for everyone’s support and beautiful messages.
“Having a well needed night in the present moment with my boyfriend to celebrate my birthday but can’t put into words the gratitude for you all and relief I’m feeling right now."
Georgia added: “Trust the universe.”
The former Love Island star said she felt “violated” and had gone through “two years of hell” in the follow-up to the trial in a statement shared shortly after the verdict was heard.
Georgia said she also felt “empowered” though, as she hopes she has inspired others who have fallen victim to revenge porn to “seek justice”.
