In April, Sydney was cast in a mystery role in S.J. Clarkson’s MCU superhero movie Madame Web, which Sony Pictures will release on July 7, 2023.
‘I’m about to start shooting Madame Web with Dakota Johnson!’ Sweeney gushed in an interview with Vogue Hong Kong, which was translated from Chinese to English.
‘I’m really excited to start this journey, looking forward to showing you all my movie!’

The Fifty-Fifty Films founder should be a natural for fight scenes considering she’s been practicing mixed martial arts since middle school.
‘It taught me discipline and strength,’ Sydney noted.
‘Today, I still practice as hard as I used to, but just don’t compete. I work out, run, and play a lot of sports every week.’

Sweeney currently plays Cassie Howard in Sam Levinson’s critically-acclaimed teen drama Euphoria, which HBO renewed for a third season in February.
‘I’m honored to work with this incredible group and everyone’s efforts translate into what fans see,’ the Tory Burch muse said.
‘I try to separate myself from my character as much as possible. Their memories are not mine, nor are their favourite colours or music, so that I can really travel between characters and myself.’
