Taylor Swift teases fans by promising Red 'worth the wait'

‘It’s worth the wait’: Taylor Swift slips back into promo mode for upcoming re-recorded album Red (Taylor’s Version) by appearing in a scarlet dress and matching jewels in new video

Taylor Swift has been hard at work re-recording six of her Grammy Award-winning albums after having her music catalogue purchased and then sold by Scooter Braun.

And to get fans excited about the forthcoming release of Red (Taylor’s Version), a re-recording of her 2012 album of the same name, the popstar has been dropping hints on social media since the summer.

On Friday, with less than a month until the record’s premiere, Swift appeared on Instagram in a ruffled scarlet dress to share a snippet of Red’s revamped title track.

Promo mode: Taylor Swift, 31, shared a new video in promotion of her upcoming re-recorded album Red (Taylor’s Version)

’21 days til November 12 and I *promise* it’s worth the wait,’ she wrote in the caption of the video, in a reference to the release date.

Swifties have plenty to dissect from the video.

Off the top, the singer-songwriter flashes her infectious smile, as she stares directly into the camera, and then gives a cutesy nod and eye roll.

In keeping with the visual theme, Swift is decked out in a red dress with large red flower designs on each shoulder, and her blonde tresses styled with major bangs and pulled back into a ponytail.

Red items: The superstar singer-songwriter also modeled a Red ring, which is being sold on her website, www.taylorswift.com

Feeling Red: Swift pronounced it’s ‘Red Season’ in the new video, which also showed a glimpse  of red flowers

Everything Red: There’s also a look at a red spaghetti-strap dress in the promo clip

There’s no place like home: The video also showed a pair of red shoes

‘It’s Red season,’ flashes across the screen, just as the video shifts to a closeup shot of the 11-time Grammy winner’s hand with one of her Red rings on her middle finger.

There are then quick clips of a number of red items, including flowers, a spaghetti strap dress, shoes, decorations, accessories, more shoes, and jackets.

It ends with a look at a red gift box that’s wrapped with a bow.

Red (Taylor’s Version) is the second of six albums Swift plans to re-record and release as a way to regain creative control of her music following the sale of the masters to her first six albums, by her former record label Big Machine, ‘without her knowledge.’

Added touches: There was also plenty of Red jewelry and accessories

Shoes everywhere: Red Season also meant more red shoes in the video

Everything Red: There’s also a clip of red jackets and blazers hanging up in the video

Fearless (Taylor’s Version), a remake of her second studio album Fearless (2008), was the first of the six to be redone. She also plans to re-record her self-titled debut, Taylor Swift (2006), Speak Now (2010), 1989 (2014) and Reputation (2017).

As part of the promotional push to the November 12 release of Red (Taylor’s Version), the Pennsylvania native has added an array of items like the Red ring, an All Too Well knit scarf, several t-shirts and sweatshirts, and other memorabilia to her website, www.taylorswift.com.

The updated album includes collaborations with Phoebe Bridgers, Chris Stapleton and Ed Sheeran on the From The Vault tracks, which were written for the original recording but did not make the final cut
