Oprah’s highly anticipated interview with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry aired on Sunday with a slew of bombshell revelations, including how one member of the royal family questioned how dark their son Archie’s skin would be. There has been a lot of reaction to the explosive sit-down, both on social media and in the U.S. and U.K. press.
The morning after the interview, which coincides with International Women’s Day, Good Morning Britain‘s Piers Morgan called the segment an “absolutely disgraceful betrayal.” He went even further to dismiss claims that racism drove the couple from the royal family, but GMB guest Dr. Shola Mos-Shogbamimu, a political and women’s rights activist, wasn’t having any of it. She offered the TV host a history lesson in colonialism, before calling him “disgusting.”
