‘My first thoughts of him weren’t very pleasant’: Vogue Williams admits she still gets ‘really angry’ seeing husband Spencer Matthews’ womanising ways on Made In Chelsea
Vogue Williams has revealed that she still gets angry at husband Spencer Matthews when watching back old clips of him on Made In Chelsea.
The model, 35, met Spencer, 32, in 2017 while starring on The Jump together, with Spencer at the time known for his lothario behaviour on the Chelsea-based E4 show.
And speaking in a new episode of That’s A First podcast, Vogue told how her first impressions of her now husband ‘weren’t very pleasant’, thought she insisted that her feelings quickly changed.

Discussing her initial reaction when meeting Spencer, Vogue explained: ‘What were my first thoughts on my partner? Spenny, poor Spenny. Well, I mean, my first thoughts were kind of like everyone else’s first thoughts.
‘He wasn’t the nicest on Made in Chelsea and I just kind of thought, “oh gosh, that guy’s on the show?” because we were doing The Jump together. And my first thoughts weren’t very pleasant but they quickly changed.’
She continued: ‘I remember leaving the first session of The Jump and calling one of my mates because one of my gay mates really fancied him. And I was like, he’s actually so sound.

‘I’d say he’s gonna be one of our mates. So actually after meeting him just for the first couple of hours I thought he’ll definitely be in our friendship group.’
She then told hosts Maisie Adam and Tom Lucy that while she never watched him on Made In Chelsea at the time, she still sees the ‘odd thing’ and gets ‘angry’ about his love rat antics on the show.
When asked if she watched him, she responded: ‘No, thankfully. But I have seen stuff since, my little brother shows me the odd funny thing and I find myself getting really angry with him.

‘I’m like “that was so mean, you’re so mean to her!’ But obviously it’s all kind of based on truths and actually when people got to know him when we did our own show, they were really shocked at the way he was.
‘He’s completely different to what anyone would have seen on Made In Chelsea.’
Vogue met and fell in love Spencer in 2017 after appearing on Channel 4 reality show The Jump, with the couple going on to marry in June 2018.
The couple welcomed son Theodore in September that year, while daughter Gigi was born in July 2020.

Meanwhile, Vogue recently faced backlash as it was claimed last week she’d broken the rules on travelling while London was in Tier 4 by flying abroad for the family break to St. Barts.
Vogue jetted out of London with her husband Spencer Matthews, 32, and their children Theodore, two and Gigi, six months, after Tier 4 restrictions were implemented in London, banning all non-essential travel.
However Vogue defiantly stated their family holiday was within the guidelines and wrote on social media: ‘I would like to assure my lovely Instagram family that I have not broken the government guidelines since rules and guidance came into effect last March.

‘I also had Covid tests to ensure I travelled safely and I adhered to all safety guidelines recommended. It’s not ideal to be away working during these times but it had been booked in since last year…’
Vogue had been living it up in the French Caribbean where Spencer’s family own exclusive resort Eden Rock, despite rules advising against all but essential travel from the UK.
At the time of the their flight, travel abroad for leisure was banned under Tier 4 guidelines. Travel exceptions were only allowed for reasons such as work, education and childcare.
Travel for leisure is now totally banned in the UK following the third nationwide lockdown.
Vogue was last spotted in London hours after the capital entered into Tier 4 restrictions on Sunday, December 20.
