Kevin Clifton, 39, has criticised the Strictly Come Dancing judges on Twitter as he believes Dan Walker, 44, was not given the right score after tonight’s performance. Dan and Nadiya Bychkova danced the Charleston to Good Morning from the musical Singin’ In The Rain.

Way better than 7’s right?

Dan scored an impressive 31 from the judges this evening, however many including Kevin have taken to Twitter to criticise the judges scoring.

Kevin penned in view of his 252,200 followers in response to former professional Robin Windsor: “Way better than 7’s right?”

Fans took the comments to tell Kevin their opinion on tonight’s show and scoring.

Nikki_Fay said: “Not a Dan fan myself but he was brilliant tonight.

“He was undermarked, definitely better than 7’s.”

NicolaInsgram30 added: “Thought it was his best dance and Shirley’s score and comments were right.

“So I was surprised the other judges went lower.”

Heatherjordan3 commented: “Undermarked. He isn’t the best dancer, but that deserved far more.

“Some of the scoring tonight was suspect.”

Kevin was replying to former professional Robin’s tweet, who agreed over the judges scoring.

Robin said: “Just got home in time to see @mrdanwalker and @NadiyaBychkova.

“That Charleston was FABULOUS!!! Such an IMPROVEMENT and that’s what it’s about.

“I want to watch that again!! No way should have been 7’s.

Kevin tweeted earlier in the night to compliment Dan’s performance.

He penned: “Wow!!!@mrdanwalker!!

“Where did that come from?? @bbcstrictly @intherainsocial.”

Kevin currently plays Cosmo Brown in the West End musical Singin’ In the Rain.

Dan replied: “Thanks Kev.

“I channelled a mix of you and Gene Kelly.”

Dan’s performance still scored well, as he managed to hit upwards of 30 in his scoring with Cynthia and Motsi both giving him a seven, Shirley awarding him a nine and Anton an eight.

You can watch the results show tomorrow night on BBC One at 7.15pm.
