Willow Smith looked unrecognisable as she starred in her latest music video for her new single, Transparent Soul.
The 20-year-old singer unveiled her edgy style in the clip for her collaboration with rocker Travis Barker on Tuesday.
The dark visual showed the daughter of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith rocking a spiked choker and bold make-up in an array of goth-inspired ensembles.

She spent much of the music video in an all black look that included bondage-style pants, combat boots and a cut-out crop top.
The artist accessorised the getup with a giant spiky choker and chain belt as she is seen throwing around both a guitar as well as her middle fingers.
The Blink-182 musician lent his drumming talents to the emo-style track, usually associated with the sound of bands like Paramore and Fall Out Boy.
Willow first rose to fame in her own right with the catchy pop anthem Whip My Hair in 2010.

Later in the video, she trades in the pants and top for a form-fitting strapless dress and printed leggings, as well as a purple bodysuit covered in spikes.
She revealed that working with the rock icon really inspired her as an artist.
‘Being in the studio with him really showed me how multi-dimensional his artistry really is… He literally heard the song once and played it.
‘He was like, ‘Oh, that’s perfect,’ one day and played it perfectly once,’ she said in an interview with Apple Music 1.

‘When I first started doing my own music and my parents got me a vocal coach, we only did pop and R&B kind of vibes, and so for my entire life, I didn’t think I had the voice to sing this kind of music or sing rock in general,’ she told Rolling Stone about her new music.
She said the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic gave her the opportunity to try new things, like emulating music inspirations such as Avril Lavigne and My Chemical Romance.

‘That was insanely inspiring. I always felt like I wanted to do it, but for some reason was really insecure and felt like I couldn’t. Transparent Soul is the first taste of a forthcoming album from the music star, but no details about a release date have been released yet.
