If you’re a fan ofAldi’s bargain beauty products – more specifically, its skincare line – then you’ll be pleased to know that the supermarket has expanded the popular Lacura range with three new must-have K-beauty inspired products – and they’re sure to sell out fast.
Last year beauty fans went wild for the limited edition range, with products quickly flying off the shelves after many shoppers noticed similarities between them and buys from cult favourite Korean brandGlow Recipe.
Following the success of the range, Lacura has launched three new “dupes” to join its existing K-beauty line: a papaya scrub, plum serum and banana souffle face cream.
Although both the Glow Recipe originals and Aldi’s versions look incredibly alike, and even contain similar ingredients, there is one huge difference – the price.
With savings of up to £41 compared to Glow Recipe’s bestsellers, it’s no wonder Aldi shoppers are going mad for the purse-friendly range.
Aldi claims its newest additions will “make that sought-after glow easier than ever to achieve”. Products are available to purchase in store now, and keep an eye out on Aldi’s website for further drops.
Next month Aldi will also be launching a bubble sheet mask, which bears an incredible likeness to one byGlamGlow– a brand favoured by celebs likeMaura Higgins,Lydia BrightandVicky Pattison.
Feel like stepping up your skincare game without breaking the bank? Here’s everything you need to know about the supermarket’s brand new glow-boosting products.
Lacura Banana Souffle Face Cream, £4.99
It might sound good enough to eat, but don’t be fooled! This face cream contains some great ingredients for your skin to soak up, including squalane, a hydrogenated form of squalene, which our body naturally produces. Squalane works like your skin’s own oil to replenish lost moisture and give the skin a firmer and more youthful appearance.
This bargain buy looks very similar to Glow Recipe’s Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream, £36 here– which is over £30 more expensive than Aldi’s version.
Lacura Plum Hyaluronic Acid Serum, £4.99
For a hit of hydration, Lacura’s brand new serum is enriched with hyaluronic acid and three antioxidant-rich plum extracts. It also contains vitamin B5, which helps to stabilise the skin barrier and maintain its softness and elasticity whilst keeping fine lines and wrinkles at bay.
Glow Recipe has a similar Plum Plump Hyaluronic Serum for £37 here, which works out at over £32 more expensive than Aldi’s alternative.
Lacura Papaya Enzyme Face Scrub, £4.99
Fancy getting your glow on? Those looking for a more polished, dewy complexion should pick up Lacura’s new papaya-based face scrub, which works to improve the skin’s texture and appearance.
Some might say it looks just like Glow Recipe’s Papaya Sorbet Cleansing Balm, £29 here– a whopping price difference of over £24.
