Having twins requires a balancing act.

Former “Bachelor” Arie Luyendyk Jr. revealed in a new YouTube video that he and his wife, Lauren Burnham, take turns sleeping in their newborn twins’ room in order to make sure at least one parent gets a full night’s rest.

“Lately what we’ve been doing is I’ll sleep in the twins’ room, I’ll take a night, and then Lauren will sleep in the twins’ room the next night,” the reality star, 39, explained.

“Yeah, we just switch on and off,” Burnham, 29, then said, before Luyendyk added, “Just to give each other like a full night’s rest, and then the person who has the full night’s rest handles [our eldest] Alessi first thing in the morning.”

The parents of three said prior to figuring out this new sleep schedule, their 2-month-old babies, Lux and Senna, would wake up at different hours throughout the night depending on when they were hungry.

However, they’ve since learned to keep their twins “on the same schedule,” even if that means one has to wait a few minutes until the other gets hungry before being fed again.

“If you don’t, you just have literally zero time for anything,” Burnham said. “You can’t even eat.”

Luyendyk and Burnham, who met on Season 22 of “The Bachelor,” welcomed their twins in June. Their oldest daughter, Alessi, was born in 2019.

Burnham’s postpartum journey came with a few complications this time around — aside from lack of sleep — as she was hospitalized in July for mastitis, which is an inflammation of breast tissue.

Luyendyk later posted an update on his Instagram, telling fans, “My bb @laurenluyendyk is home and feeling much better ❤️ thank you for all the well wishes! The fam is back together!”
