Now the National Trust is not the first thing that comes to mind when you think of boobs or anything remotely racy.

To be honest, it does not come to mind at all when your brain has raunchy thoughts.

Well, that is until now.

One eagle-eyed shopper spotted some ‘tit’ tape in the conservation charity shop – but it is not what you think.

‘Tit’ tape is usually for women to secure their breasts to make sure they do not fall out of clothing.

However, the Trust's sticky product is not the double sided version that most women keep in their possession.

Hilariously, the National Trust is selling some brown paper tape with ‘tits’ on.

And by tits, we mean as in the bird kind.

The eco-friendly decorative ‘British Tits Paper Tape’ features an array of blue tits, coal tits and crested tits, according to the National Trust website.

And for only £7, you can get your hands on a 50 metre roll of all of Britain’s favourite tits yourself!

Twitter user @WGAbroad posted a snap of the rolls of bird inspired tape – which has now racked up thousands of likes on social media.

Left in stitches at the cheeky gag, many people fled to the comments to praise the creativity of the National Trust.

One Twitter user commented: “Thank you – that has genuinely made me laugh out loud!!”

Another user questioned: "You can use this to wear a backless dress though?

While a third person chuckled: “Do they have similar for woodpeckers?”

Someone else voiced: “At £7 the price made my heart race. Titting hell.”

Meanwhile a fifth person remarked: “I don’t reckon it’ll be great at sticking your clothes to you though.”
