Chris Pratt gushed about his “complete boss” of a wife Katherine Schwarzenegger on her 32nd birthday.
“The Guardians of the Galaxy” star posted a lengthy tribute alongside a series of candid snaps of Schwarzenegger smiling on a boat trip.
“You are such a wonderful wife, mother, step-mother, and life partner,” he wrote. “I simply can’t imagine how lost I’d be without you. You’re beautiful, tough as nails, reasonable, deeply thoughtful, extraordinarily smart, you’re a complete boss, eternally driven and you communicate like no other.”
The actor went on to thank the self-help author for being “instrumental” in his growth over the years.
“We fit so perfectly into each other’s lives that our Union is a daily reminder that God is looking out for us,” Pratt, 42, continued. “Navigating the odd circumstances of our world is a task I cannot handle alone. And I’m so grateful I don’t have to. Your commitment to helping others is contagious.
“I’m just so grateful for the harmony you continually bring to our household. I love you so much honey. Happy Birthday!”
The couple wed in June 2019 and welcomed daughter Lyla Maria in August 2020. Pratt also has a 9-year-old son named Jack with ex-wife Anna Faris. He was married to the “Mom” star for eight years before splitting in 2017.
Last month, the “Parks and Recreation” alum got into hot water on social media when he praised Schwarzenegger for giving him a “healthy daughter.”
Many noted that the adjective seemed like a thoughtless rebuke of his son, Jack, who was born prematurely and has had to undergo numerous operations as a result.
“I love Chris Pratt, but the ‘healthy daughter’ part is made me wince,” one person tweeted at the time. “Although he may not have meant it as an insult, it sort of came off that way. Imagine how that will make his son feel, if he ever reads it?”
Another added, “Chris Pratt is a dick.”
