Dragons’ Den features entrepreneurs Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden, Touker Suleyman, Tej Lalvani and Sara Davies. They have all had success in business, but who has earned the most?
Various business owners have sat as Dragons on the show since it began in 2005.
While their exact fortunes are not known, it is thought Peter Jones may have earned the most of the current Dragons.
Peter Jones net worth
The businessman has a fortune of £500million, according to Spear’s magazine.
Peter set up his first business when he was just 16-years-old and notably grew his fortune after setting up Phones International Group.
In the first seven years, the business had a turnover of £150million and he has embarked on various business ventures since.
Tej Lalvani net worth
According to Spear’s, Tej Lalvani’s net worth is £275 million.
He made his staggering wealth launching his own nutraceutical firm, Vitabiotic.
The company produces various well-known supplements such as Perfectil and Wellwoman, and now has an impressive turnover of £300million a year.
Touker Suleyman net worth
Spear’s magazine reported he is worth a staggering £150million.
The investor has made much of his fortune in retail and established the brand Kingsland Models, which supplied womenswear to high-street shops like Dorothy Perkins and Topshop.
In 2001, the brand acquired Hawkes & Curtis for just £1 and the value rose to £30million by 2014.
He continued to add to his fortune by building his property portfolio.
Deborah Meaden net worth
The Dragons’ Den investor has a fortune of £40million, according to Spear’s magazine.
Deborah has reportedly invested more than £3million in various ventures while appearing on Dragons’ Den.
Before this, however, she earned an impressive fortune while working for holiday park operator Weststar Holidays.
In 2006, the 62-year-old sold the majority of her shares for £33million and her remaining shares were valued at £19million two years later.
Sara Davies net worth
Sara has a net worth of £37million, Insider Growth reported.
The 36-year-old set up a business which created bespoke envelopes for handmade cards.
She did this while studying and the business was turning over £500,000 by the time she graduated.
Her company, Crafter’s Companion, reported a turnover of £25million in 2018.
