Drew Barrymore is celebrating Mother’s Day with a televised tattoo.

The 46-year-old actress got a special message for her daughters, “Home is where we are,” inked on her arm during an emotional segment of “The Drew Barrymore Show” on Thursday.

Barrymore said she came up with the phrase and has been “saying it to [herself] for the past five years.”

“Home is where we are and wherever life takes you, if you are lucky enough to be alongside people you love, then to me, that became the definition of home,” she explained.

The star sat behind her news desk to get tattooed, enlisting “Ink Master” star Ryan Ashley to inscribe the “most important life lesson” on her right forearm.

The “Charlie’s Angel” actress, who also treated a mom of two from the audience to a tattoo of her own, said her “eyes were stinging from crying too much” when talking about her daughters on air.

“I never knew what home was until I had my daughters,” Barrymore — who shares children Olive, 8, and Frankie, 7, with ex Will Kopelman — said in a behind-the-scenes clip shared on Instagram. “I thought, ‘I’m gonna make us a home that will be forever and so strong,’ and then life changed and our plans changed.”

She continued, “When I was in rental apartments, or not knowing where life was going, or so upset that the plans I tried to solidify for my kids had changed, it really led to the discovery of what home really means for me — and that is if we are together, wherever we are, home is where we are.”

Barrymore captioned her post, “I did it!! I got a tattoo on our show today! Home Is Where We Are. It has such a special meaning to me and my daughters.”

It’s not her first tattoo dedicated to her kids, whom she tearfully called “the reason I understand my whole life,” as she also has their names inked on her wrist, right above the new phrase.
