EastEnders’ Tilly Keeper looks unrecognisable after major hair makeover with fringe

Tilly Keeper looked almost unrecognisable from her days on Albert Square, as she took to Instagram to unveil a her new look, including a brand new hairstyle.

The former EastEnders star, 25, portrayed Louise Mitchell on the long-running BBC soap from 2016, until her departure in 2020. She has since appeared as Lady Phoebe Borehall-Blaxworth in the popular Netflix thriller series You, alongside Gossip Girl's Penn Badgley.

Posting to her Instagrm story, Tilly has shown off her new look to her 344k followers, unveiling her her new, darker hairstyle, which featured a rather seventies style fringe.

She also showed off her glam side as she donned some bright red lipstick and some bold black eyeliner.


The TV star captioned it: "In my Daisy Jones and The Six era," referencing the Amazon Prime musical drama, based on the book of the same name by Taylor Jenkins Reid.

Reassuring fans that part of the the chic new style was fake, Tilly added :"Faux fringe not real, no one panic."

It comes just a couple of weeks after it was announced that You has been renewed for a fifth, and final, season, although it is not clear if Tilly will be returning to the Netflix show.

Tilly's character, Lady Phoebe ended the last series far away, as she became a camp leader in Thailand, teaching children to speak English.

Season four saw the murderous Joe Goldberg assume a new identity of university English professor Jonathan Moore in London, where he met new love interest gallery manager Kate Galvin, played by Fresh Meat and Call The Midwife actress Charlotte Ritchie.

The end of the latest instalment saw Joe return to New York, using his original name, where in season one he met Guinevere Beck, played by Once Upon A Time actress Elizabeth Lail, and worked as a bookseller.

However, unlike previous instalments, season five will see Joe as a multi-millionaire, if not billionaire, thanks to his relationship with Kate.

The popular thriller is based on the best-selling novels by Caroline Kepnes, and the first series aired on Lifetime before it moved to Netflix, where it has taken the world by storm.

Millions of fans around the world have since tuned in to catch every exciting instalment of the dark series, with some sharing their thoughts on social media.

“Said this already but @PennBadgley is breaking my heart once again as Joe. What is it about him?” lamented one fan. To which Penn candidly replied: “He’s a murderer!”
