AFTER finishing a marathon it is fair to say that you deserve a good meal and a stiff drink on the house.

Here is a round up of all the freebies you can enjoy just by flashing your 2018 marathon medal.

Runners put months and months of hard graft into being able to conquer the London Marathon.

But after it's over it is timed for a well deserved binge.

What better way to start packing back on all those pounds that you've shed training than with a load of free food and booze.

And all you need to do is show off your new London Marathon 2018 medal.

Franco Manca – free pizza across the UK

For hungry runners Franco Manca is offering a free pizza to marathon finishers.

Just show your medal in any Franco Manca nationwide and you can get any pizza on their menu for free, and you won't have to pay for extra toppings.

You can use this offer on race day (April 22) or April 23.

Mac & Wild – free beef and venison burger

You can get a free veni-moo burger in Mac and Wild's Fitzrovia restaurant in London on April 22 and April 23.

The veni-moo burger is made out of a beef patty, venison patty, cheese, béarnaise and caramelised onions served on a brioche bun.

But you will have to pay for your own sides and drinks.

Here is the London Marathon race route to help you avoid the race and get where you are going.

Maxwell's – free burgers for runners and discounts for staff.

Maxwell's in Covent Garden are giving away a free burger to race finishers and 25 per cent off for race staff.

You will have to get to the restaurant by 11PM to get your hands on a freebie though.

Runners will be given a choice between a regular beef burger and a vegetarian soy burger.

Sides and drinks aren't free for runners but race staff get 25 per cent off their total bill including drinks.

Yo! Sushi – free curry all week

Runners have the opportunity to load up on free curry at Yo! Sushi ahead of race day this weekend.

The sushi restaurant are putting on a different free dish every day for anyone signed up to run.

You just need to show your registration email or letter to get a free curry.

The offer is only available at these restaurants: Richmond, Harvey Nichols, Fulham, Russell Square, Baker Street, Bond St, Waterloo Station, Victoria Station, London Bridge, Southbank, High Street Kensington, Westfield White City, Westfield Stratford , Bromley, Brent Cross, Finchley Road.

Mod Pizza – Free pizza or salad

located at 17-18 Irving Street, London, Mod Pizza are offering a free pizza when you show your medal.

There is also a salad on offer for those who are still trying be health conscious.

Lady Abercorn Pub – Free roast for the fastest finishers

The Lady Abercorn pub which is part of the Andaz London Liverpool Street hotel is giving away free roasts to the first 100 runners who can make it through the door.

The first 100 roasts are up for grabs all weekend and include bottomless yorkshire puddings.

Roasts on offer are lamb Shoulder,chicken and pork Loin, and vegetable wellington.

Though marathon runners do have to bring a non-runner with them to get the deal.

If these deals are making you hungry then you get your free food next year if you apply for the 2019 London Marathon. 

Three Cheers pubs – free booze

If you can get down to one of the eight Three Cheers pubs in London on race day between 12pm and 11pm there is a free drink waiting for you.

You can get either one free pint of beer, a 175ml glass of house red or white wine, a 125ml glass of prosecco, a house spirit and mixer, or a soft drink.

The offer is only on for  race day and you just need to show your medal to get the free food and booze.
