In last week’s Holby City we saw Cameron (Nic Jackman) tell Skylar (Phoebe Pryce) to give a patient a particular drug – and the patient died after an allergic reaction to it.
Cameron and Skylar are under investigation, and in tonight’s episode they’re both questioned to try to find out who was responsible.
Skylar is under pressure from both her stepfather, chairman of the board Michael Townsend (Elliot Levey), and Cameron to take the blame. She’s convinced that she should tell the truth – she was only carrying out Cameron’s explicit instruction. But we know that it’s never wise to cross Cameron. Is Skylar setting herself up for more trouble? And will the truth come out?
With Kian back at home trying to come off his addiction to drugs, Jac (Rosie Marcel) is taking on his workload as well as the stress of worrying about him.
She also has the irritation of having to work with two doctors, Chloe (Amy Lennox) and Nicky (Belinda Owusu), who are constantly bickering. So her tolerance for irresponsible patients is even lower than usual. Will Jac admit what’s really going on before it affects her patients?
While Beka (Francesca Barrett) remains on Keller, still suffering from the effects of the ‘mystery illness,’ Jodie (Sian Reese-Williams) has never been far from her side. Tonight it seems that Jodie’s efforts are paying off and Beka is a lot more friendly towards her.
Jodie even asks Beka to be her bridesmaid at her forthcoming wedding to Sacha (Bob Barrett). But when Jodie’s vision of playing happy families is called into question her behaviour takes an even more sinister turn – and both Beka and Sacha are left fighting for their lives.
Lucky Simpson (Vineeta Rishi) is suspicious about something Jodie says to her and decides to make some enquiries about her – and she makes a shocking discovery. Will she manage to put the pieces of the puzzle together in time to save Sacha and his daughter?
