Inside Gemma Owen’s welcome home party at £4m mansion with family

Love IslandstarGemma Owenreturned home last week following her eight week stint in the villa in Mallorca.

The beauty, 19, was a runner up in this year’s series with beauLuca Bishand following her return to the UK, herfamily threw her a welcome home party.

Gemma returned toher stunning family mansion in Cheshire to find that her parents, Louise and Michael, had thrown her a Love Island-themed party to celebrate her return.

Taking to social media she showed off the adorable party and the emotional moment she reunited with her beloved pet dogs and horse.

For the party Gemma showcased her incredible figure in a pair of jeans and a white shirt paired with Hermes sandals.

She left her brunette locks loose and stepped into her home with her bags of designer goods on each arm.

She was visibly emotional and held back tears as she met her two pet dogs.

The international dressage rider later met her pet horse for the first time since going into Love Island and shared an emotional moment as she wrapped her hands around his mane.


Elsewhere the family went all out for the party including making it as Love Island themed as possible.

They made a massive balloon arch complete with balloons with the famous Love Island logo on them.

Inflatable palm trees were visible both in the living room and in the garden, along with a huge clear balloon with the ITV2 dating show's logo printed across it.


Earlier in the day the family threw a barbecue in the garden of their sprawling Grade-II-listed manor set among 42 acres in the countryside.

Michael, who also shares James, 16, Emily, 14, and Jessica, 12, with his wife Louise, shared a snap of all of Gemma's guests gathered in one area of the garden as they tucked into barbecue food.

While Gemma poked fun at the “villa curse” when she sat on a yellow beanbag.

"Look what's followed me home @ekinsuofficial!” Gemma wrote on Instagram alongside a laughing face emoji, as she made reference to the “curse” that both the Islanders and fans at home were convinced affected anyone that was caught sitting on the beanbag during this year's series.

Gemma's famous footballer dad Michael, 42, later joined her on the beanbag for a sweet snap, with the father-of-four telling his fans: "Welcome home @gemowen_1 it's good to have you back!"

The Love Island star looked as glamorous as ever in a white cropped satin blouse and denim shorts, which she paired with her trademark Dita Eyewear sunglasses.
