Jealous and violent partner roughed up gym trainer who was helping me out | The Sun

DEAR DEIDRE: I AM too embarrassed to go back to the gym that I love after my boyfriend roughed up one of the staff members who works there.

He can sometimes get a bit jealous. I’m 27, he is 31 and we have been together for three years.

Listen to the NEW Dear Deidre podcast

Resident agony aunt Sally Land is taking The Sun’s legendary advice column from the page to podcast.

We both love working out and were regulars at our local gym.

One day I was struggling with a new machine and one of the trainers came over and helped me.

But my boyfriend decided he was flirting and had “disrespected” him.

He got really angry and marched over, barging the trainer aside.

The trainer bashed his head on some nearby weights.

I’d love to go back but should I clear the air with the trainer first?

My boyfriend has been banned from that gym.
