Mother says OnlyFans makes her a 'better parent' to her daughter, four

Single mother who ‘loathed’ herself because she couldn’t provide for her daughter insists sharing racy snaps on OnlyFans makes her a ‘better parent’ -despite being judged by relatives

  • Jessica Smyers, 29, claims her OnlyFans account has given her financial stability
  • The mother-of-one, from Arizona, claims she couldn’t ‘provide’ for herself before
  • She says it gives her more time to spend at home with her four-year-old daughter
  • Jessica admitted she has been shamed for her career by both family and friends

A mother who has been shamed for stripping off for strangers while her daughter plays in the next room has insisted that OnlyFans has made her a ‘better parent’.

Jessica Smyers, 29, from Arizona, set up her OnlyFans account in 2019 and claims that it has given her and her four-year-old daughter financial stability whereas she couldn’t ‘provide’ for herself before.

She admitted that she has received criticism for her career as a model, admitting that she has been judged by close friends while some of her family members said she wasn’t putting her daughter first.

But the mother-of-one insisted that social media ‘changed her life’ and gave her life ‘purpose’ again, as well as allowing her to get a house for herself and her daughter.

The mother-of-one (pictured) set up her OnlyFans in 2019 and claims that it has given her and her four-year-old daughter financial stability whereas she couldn’t ‘provide’ for herself before

She explained: ‘Social media changed my life. I was able to make enough money to provide for my daughter and move out into our own place.

‘Now I have meaning, I have purpose again.’

Jessica had been a police officer in the Navy but left after falling pregnant in 2016 and went home for support, because she would be raising her daughter alone.

She spent three years being a stay-at-home mother living with her parents before setting up her OnlyFans account, with Jessica saying she had no financial stability and often ‘loathed’ herself for ‘bringing life into this world’.

The model continued: ‘It was such a hard time in my life. I’d been so driven in my career and suddenly I felt like I had no control of my career path.

‘I often loathed myself for bringing life into this world and felt like I couldn’t take care of myself financially, let alone my daughter.

‘The vicious cycle of self doubt and self loathing made me feel like I wasn’t ready to be a mother.’

After becoming a model and setting up an OnlyFans account, Jessica said she had money to ‘provide’ for her daughter again and they were able to move out of her parents’ home.

But while she has found success in her career as a model, Jessica admitted that she has been shamed for her choices, even being judged by close friends who distanced themselves from her.

She explained: ‘I’ve been mom-shamed for having an OnlyFans account.

‘Some very traditional family members had concerns I wasn’t putting my daughter first, but by working this way she can be home with me while I work.

‘I think they wanted me to be a housewife with a husband to support me but that was never going to be me.’

Jessica has also cruelly been called a ‘sl*t’, a ‘bad mother’ and ‘irresponsible’ by trolls online.

The model said: ‘I try to ignore other people’s negativity. I have the ultimate flexible job. I refuse to stop flaunting my sexuality just because I’m a mother now.

‘Society has such a problem with mothers owning their sexy side, but it’s a huge part of who I am and I’ll always be honest with my daughter in an age-appropriate way.

‘Right now she knows I’m a model and I take pictures for a job and that’s all.

‘But when we are home together she will often see me in my lingerie or with my shirt off ready for a shoot and it’s perfectly innocent.

‘While she plays on the other side of the apartment I will pose and make content in my room.’

Jessica also takes raunchy photos for her fans while out and about, stepping away from her daughter during family hikes to create a mini set and pose for snaps.

But the mother insisted that her young daughter is ‘not interested’ in what she is doing and gives her the chance to work from home with her daughter.

She continued: ‘My daughter is only four, she is just not interested in what I’m doing, she plays with her toys and is always safe with me at home.

‘As a kid I had no idea what my parents’ jobs were and she is just as uninterested.’

Jessica first started modelling as a hobby while serving in the US Navy as a police officer for five years from 2011-2016.

But her looks often held her back at her job with her chain of command reportedly dubbing her ‘too pretty’ to go out on arrests, leaving her stuck on watch instead.

She said: ‘Being in the military was extremely hard. I would spend 17 hours on my post as a watch person and then sleep and get up and do it all again.

‘If I showed up to an arrest, people would joke about wanting to be handcuffed to me. My seniors said my petite frame was a distraction.

‘I wanted more from my life than just standing on watch so I started modelling alongside my work as a way to feel more like myself.

‘I loved to get my hair done and feel like a sexy woman instead of always being in uniform.’

Jessica claims that she is trolled for being too sexy to be a mother, saying this prejudice caused her to stop modelling for a few months before she decided that ‘sex is a natural thing’

Jessica claims that she is now trolled for being too sexy to be a mother, saying this prejudice caused her to stop modelling for a few months before she decided that ‘sex is a natural thing’.

She continued: ‘I let my own prejudice stop my modelling for a few months.

‘When I had my daughter in January 2017 I told myself I couldn’t be overtly sexual and a mother, but actually sex is a natural thing and I’d rather my daughter one day learn it from me instead of kids at school.’

The model now has a supportive boyfriend and the smitten pair have been together for one year, with Jessica saying that he is happy as long as she is.

Urging others to ‘open’ their mindset, she added: ‘As long as I am happy, my partner is happy and my daughter is safe we are good.

‘To anyone who judges me, I say: open your mind. Mothers should be able to live a free life, “sexually explicit” or not.

‘For so long I was a single mother trying to keep my head above water.

‘OnlyFans lets me live a sexy fun life connecting to people all over the world while still providing for my family. More mothers should do it.

‘I don’t understand the shame around it. Why is a mother on OnlyFans any different to a famous actress doing a sex scene for a movie? It is all entertainment.’

Multi-talented Jessica was also a gymnast as a child and pushed herself to become an Olympic level weightlifter, while the model also plans to compete representing the USA in 2021.

She continued: ‘When I joined the military I started bodybuilding, once I left I tried CrossFit and weightlifting as a sport and I fell in love with it.

Jessica, who boasts 40,000 followers on her Instagram page, said OnlyFans gives her ‘financial stability’, gives her more time with her daughter and helps her mental health

‘The challenge of being an athlete is my biggest passion aside from all the sexy stuff.

‘I am planning to compete representing the USA this year.’

Jessica, who boasts 40,000 followers on her Instagram page @jazzijessicaa, said that OnlyFans gives her ‘financial stability’, gives her more time with her daughter and helps her mental health.

She said: ‘My OnlyFans provides a life for me and my daughter.

‘We have financial stability. And for all the tropes about how money doesn’t buy happiness, it sure does relieve a lot of stress and allows me to better provide for my child.

It also allows my mental health to be stable since I don’t feel like a failure.

‘That health allows me to be a better mother and to spend more time making my daughter happy.

‘I have no need for millions of dollars but what I have is my sanity back and my little girl’s smile. And that’s worth more than any bank account balance.’
