As committed followers of the cleaning sensation, the page ‘Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips’ has amassed a whopping 93,400 over on Facebook.
As part of the page, social media users often share their cleaning queries in order to get advice from people who may know a thing or two about the subject.
One query that caused a stir, came from a user who was dealing with a limescale issue.
They wrote: “May I ask if anyone has had any luck removing limescale from kitchen taps? I tried white vinegar, but had no luck.”
Given that limescale build up can be found in places where water is regularly used, such as on taps and showerheads, it’s a common problem that can cause chalky scaly deposits to form.
Fortunately members of the group were on hand to offer up their suggests, with one unique method using a 2p coin proving popular among the comments.
“Gently rub with a wet 2p coin. It’s so easy and no chemicals are needed,” one person wrote.
“Try rubbing with a 2p coin. It worked effectively on mine, the limescale just crumbles off in seconds,” another added.
“Been using a 2p coin on areas of limescale build up on my taps and around the bathroom for five years now and I’ve got no limescale problems anywhere now,” commented somebody else.

While the hack is a good way of tackling limescale soaked sinks, the 2p trick can also work on other affected areas, such as toilet bowls.
Before cleaning, it’s recommended that people wear a pair of rubber clothes and are careful not to rub too aggressively in case the surface area becomes damaged.
The latest trick comes after members of the group revealedtheir favourite ways to remove blood from fabric after someone’s son suffered from a nosebleed.
Rather than promoting expensive cleaning products, fans advised the user to use a simple solution of salt and water.
“'Salt and cold water, my mum swears by it. My nephew had a huge nose bleed and it went all down his shirt,” one user wrote.
“'Salt and cold water mixture,” a second cleaning enthusiast commented.
“Then in circular motions with a sponge the stains should rub off. Got a tonne of blood off my son’s clothing.”
