A mum penned a brilliant response after she was trolled for her outfit choice.
Mel Watts was told off by a follower who took issue without her wearing a bra.
They messaged the Australian influencer: “Why do women not wear bras anymore?
“I mean I know you’re at home being comfortable but if you’re going to record yourself to post for social media – girl put a damn bra on.
“What’s interesting is you didn’t wear a bra with your dress either which feels sl*tty to me so… ya.
“Don’t worry I already unfollowed you.”
Instead of letting this negative comment get her down, Mel posted a defiant response on her Instagram page.
She told her 268,000 followers: “This may have offended me back in 2010, like that time I was told I couldn’t wear a dress in case it came off as the wrong impression.
“But 2021 Mel thinks, let them free and by all means if you’re trying to offend me by name calling , call me a housewife that’ll p*ss me off quicker than sl*tty.
“Sl*tty sounds promiscuous, Adventurous and wild.
"All the things I’m currently not.”
The post garnered more than 8,300 likes – and many rallied around Mel.
One responder wrote: “You look amazing! I don’t know what she is talking about.”
Another said: “I’m glad that she/he has unfollowed you!
“You definitely don’t need that kinda audience anyway.”
Other women admitted they haven’t been wearing a bra at all during lockdown.
An Instagram user said: “Legit have no been wearing a bra since approx March, unless 100% necessary. Isolation ruined me for good.”
Another remarked: “#NoBraClub over here! Personally, in my experience, it’s a great club.”
A third commented: “Haven’t worn a bra in a year honestly.”
And a fourth added: “No bra or undies for me. I thought that was the normal now?
“I must have missed the memo!”
