Phillip Schofield has just treated his famous white tresses to a pamper session at London’s fancy Daniel Galvin hair salon.
The presenter, 59, took to Instagram to document the excursion for his 3.1 million followers, also sharing the final look of his new slick, cropped style.
“Summer cut! As always, thank you @linocarbosiero,” he writes, thanking his long-time hairstylist Lino Carbosiero – who also happens to be quite in-demand after being awarded an MBE by Her Majesty the Queen for services to hairdressing in 2014.
Phillip’s cut does indeed make him look incredibly dapper, with his short lengths gelled to the right of his head, but it was really the process of his haircut that had both fans and Phillip giggling.
“This made me howl… my top half, legs of the bloke opposite,” he captions a second Instagram Story snap.
True to his words, Phillip can be seen taking a selfie in the hair salon mirror in which the legs beneath clearly belong to another person, despite looking like they’re his.
A second image of a female client sitting in front of the star proves even more hilarious, with Phillip simply writing “OMFG”.
The presenter looks like he’s in tears behind his face mask as he enjoys the new game he’s found. His leg legacy remains at the salon now, with hairdresser Lino uploading Instagram Stories of recent clients also playing the “whose feet are they?” game.
“You’ve started something here @schofe,” writes Lino. “New game invented, your body but someone else’s legs.”
Phillip’s fresh trim comes after news that his “work wife” and long-time This Morning co-host Holly Willoughby is teaming up with fellow presenter Bradley Walsh to host a brand new show.
Holly, 40, shared a clip to promote her new game show, Take Off, which is a little different from her usual projects – it's on the BBC rather than ITV, and it sees her host alongside Bradley, 61.
As she posted a clip from Take Off on Instagram, many of her followers commented that it looked like a fun programme, but they couldn't get used to seeing her without Phil.
We’ll just have to get our fix of the Holly and Phil dream team on This Morning when they return at the end of August.
