Real Housewife-turned-bridesmaid Dolores Catania compared Teresa Giudice and Luis “Louie” Ruelas’ wedding to a “fairy tale.”
“It was epic. It was very Teresa,” the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star, 51, told Page Six on the red carpet at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday.
“It was like the end of an era [of] her having the weight of the world on her shoulders. You just felt such a lightness, and a lot of love at that wedding for her.”
The Bravo personality, who was was part of Giudice’s bridal party, said her 50-year-old co-star looked “100%” happier than Catania has ever seen her.
“It was beautiful. It was a fairy tale,” she said of the big day, noting how beautiful Giudice’s four daughters looked alongside her.
“It was nice to see with everything they’ve been through they still stand there together and love their mom so much,” Catania added of Gia, 21, Gabriella, 18, Milania, 16, and Audriana, 13, whom Teresa shares with ex-husband Joe Giudice.
“[Teresa’s] done such an amazing job with those girls.”
While Catania wouldn’t dish too much about Melissa and Joe Gorga skipping out on Teresa’s big day, she did say that their decision not to attend the ceremony “didn’t happen overnight.”
Melissa, however, told Page Six exclusively at the VMAs that she wanted to put the drama behind her.
“We just wrapped, and I needed a break,” she told us on the red carpet. “Let’s just put it that way.
