Salma Hayek is living out her Disney princess dreams.
The “Frida” actress, 56, donned a shimmering pale blue gown for the premiere of “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish” yesterday at New York’s Lincoln Center, joining co-star Antonio Banderas, 62, on the red carpet — and looking ready to attend a ball.
Her full-skirted tulle dress with a sheer bustier top was covered in strategically placed crystals dripping down the front and back of the bodice and featured matching sheer cap sleeves.
Hayek added a massive pale blue cocktail ring, wearing her hair down in a simple wavy style and sporting a dark smokey eye and berry lip.
Her princess look contrasted with Banderas’ casual cool style, with the actor wearing black sneakers with coordinating trousers and a navy leather motorcycle jacket worn over a maroon turtleneck.
The two stars reunited for the new film after working together on numerous projects over the years, and during an appearance on the Today show yesterday, the two spoke of their enduring bond.
“Oh my God, it means so much to me,” Hayek said of their close friendship. “Number one, I’m very proud of him.”
“She’s a real friend,” Banderas added. “Every time that we’ve been working together, immediately there is a chemistry that is very difficult to explain. I don’t want to intellectualize it. It just happens, and it’s great.”
The two friends posed on the red carpet in contrasting looks for their latest joint project.
