Sex Actually viewers found themselves lost for words when a group of people were shown having full body orgasms in what appeared to be a church hall.
In last night’s episode of the Channel 4 show, presenter Alice Levine joined in a session in Brighton run by Jan – a sexological body worker – who helps people feel pleasure and sensation and orgasmic responses in everything from their ‘finger tips, nose, throat and heart.’
And those who tuned in were left gobsmacked by what they were witnessing after Alice decided to dip her toes into one of the latest trends.
‘I think I’d be having a full body laughing attack rather than orgasm at one of these workshops,’ joked one, while a second commented: ‘Imagine doing orgasm class in a church hall.’

Speaking over the loud noises echoing around the room, Alice (pictured) said: ‘After a lot of heavy breathing and under-carriage clenching, the magic started to happen around me’

During the show, Jan spoke to Alice about one of her more unusual experiences.
‘I’ve had a particularly brilliant experience with my ankles a few years ago,’ she said, to which Alice asked how her ankles were feeling right now.
‘I’m just going to tune in,’ said Jan. ‘They always say I’m two breaths away from orgasm.’
Alice, who admitted she was mortified at the thought of orgasming in front of a group of strangers, listened on as instructor Jan explained all about the process.
‘So there’s a type of orgasm in the world, so one we might see in pornography, or films – and that kind of orgasm is very genital-based,’ she said.
‘It usually involves hard, fast friction and it’s that kind of experience that builds, builds builds – usually through tension – gets to a level and then we have our climax and generally there’s a drop off.’

Jan then went on to give different instructions for the group to follow.
