Victoria was only 62 years old when she died of cancer. She passed away from the illness at her home in Highgate, with her children and former husband.
She was hugely successful and was awarded many honours in her life.
They include being appointed a Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 2008.
She was awarded six British Comedy Awards including best stand-up live comedy reporter and writer of the year.
Was nominated for a BAFTA a whopping 14 times and won four.

The star left half of her wealth to the Victoria Wood Charitable Trust, later renamed The Victoria Wood Foundation.
It was also reported her children Grace and Henry would inherit Vitoria £4 million north London home and a cottage in the Lake District.

The Victoria Wood Foundation supports the arts, including projects such as Talitha Arts and Jessie’s Fund.
Victoria was diagnosed with cancer of the oesophagus in late 2015.
She quickly succame to the illness, passing away in April 2016.
In the lead, up to her death, the star kept her health hugely private.
In fact, even her brother was not aware of it. Two days after her death, Mr Foote Wood told the Daily Express: “I was not aware of her illness.
“She kept that very much within her immediate family.”
He claimed that they were “not close” due to them living so far apart.
In May 2019 a statue of the star was erected in her hometown of Bury in Greater Manchester.
Tonight a number of programmes will pay tribute to her.
At 8pm on BBC Two Victoria Wood: A Bafta Tribute will air.
Then at 9pm Victoria Wood: At It Again will show on the same channel.
In it, the comedian performs an award-winning stand-up show at the Royal Albert Hall.
