A woman has shared a video showing a pregnancy symptom that leaves her skin soft and "squidgy".
Expectant mother and nurse Carla joked "being pregnant is fun" when she was at her third trimester.
In one video she posted in November, her husband is seen pressing on an "indentation" on her swollen leg and holding on it for a few seconds.
When he removes his finger, the "pit" remains.
Carla also explained that she had been standing throughout her 12-hour shift at work.
Such symptom is known as pitting edema, which usually occurs in legs, feet, and ankles, as a result of gravity pulling blood down.
Some viewers were stunned but commented that it somehow "looked fun" as the skin texture turned dough-like.
One wrote: "She became memory foam."
Another commented with a shocked face emoji and said: "Oh my God you are turning into a squishy."
Her video was viewed nearly 14million times and shared by medical staff who explained that it is a normal symptom of swelling during pregnancy.
