UK darts fans were sent into a frenzy on Friday morning when it appeared that Ryan Murray had hit four nine darters in a row.
While Murray's opponent Joseph Heywood also hit eight 180s and one 60 when up at the oche.
However, not all was at seems as Murray himself responded to a post about him hitting four nine darters: "I didn't lol."
While Chris Murray added: "It is with deep regret that I now have official confirmation that Ryan Murray did not hit four nine-darters in a row.
"He did, however, win 5-0 and the data will be corrected on Dart Connect retrospectively. Back to work, people."
One fan tweeted when seeing the result: "Please tell me that is not real. It can’t be."
"Did he really hit 4 nine darters in a row," another added, confused.
A third added: "What the f***"
Another joked: "Ryan Murray doing Ryan Murray things in the challenge tour, what a player he is."

The pair were competing at Challenge Tour 1 on January 21.
The winner of the Challenge Tour will claim a Tour Card and a spot at the World Darts Championship with a second Tour Card also on the line.
Murray did win the game 5-0, but he was knocked out in the next round by Nick Kenny 5-4.
