DESERT CROWN is OUT of the King George at Ascot.
But Auguste Rodin and King Of Steel are set for a sensational rematch in the 11-strong, £1.25million Saturday blockbuster.
Sir Michael Stoute's 2022 Epsom Derby hero Desert Crown has picked up a leg infection and will be rerouted to the Juddmonte International at York next month.
He has been cut to 5-1 from 8-1 for the Ebor Festival showpiece with Mostahdaf and Paddington joint 3-1 favs.
Bruce Raymond, racing manager to the colt's owner Saeed Suhail, told the Nick Luck podcast: "Desert Crown doesn't run, he has got a leg infection.
"The plan is to go to York, but that is as much as I know."
Frankie Dettori will ride Emily Upjohn while Kevin Stott gets back up on King Of Steel.
His trainer Roger Varian reported the recent Group 2 winner to be in rude health, telling Racing TV: "I don't think the rain will inconvenience him one bit. He's a big individual and he should get through it."
Ryan Moore will ride this year's Derby hero Auguste Rodin.
Rob Hornby gets the ride on Westover, PJ McDonald is on Pyledriver while Jim Crowley rides big market mover Hukum.
