Fans in stitches as Sean Dyche ‘goes peak Sean Dyche’ reacting to Lewis Dobbin scoring first Everton goal vs Chelsea | The Sun

EVERTON boss Sean Dyche amused fans with his response to Lewis Dobbin's celebration against Chelsea on Sunday.

The homegrown starlet netted his first Toffees goal to seal a 2-0 win over the Blues.

After rattling in his first time strike, Dobbin sprinted towards the corner flag with delight etched across his face.

The 20-year-old performed a knee slide and pumped his fist before being mobbed by his team-mates.

Old school Dyche, 52, loved Dobbin's "authentic" reaction, gushing about it after the game.

Asked about Dobbin's delight, the former Burnley boss said: "Absolutely delighted, it was a strange kind of game, tough for him as a young player.

“For him to score his goal, the authenticity of his reaction to scoring a goal was so pleasing.

“No silly dances or all this nonsense that everyone gets up to in my opinion now.

“A group of people working very hard for the result, he runs towards the corner, you watch the team, everyone runs over in a very authentic manner just to enjoy the moment and I’m absolutely delighted for that and the team to get involved with that."

As his comments circulated online, one fan described them as "peak Sean Dyche".
