GARY LINEKER has told a rare story about his "cocky" brother Wayne.
A year younger than his former England star sibling at 61, Wayne Lineker spends much of his time at his O Beach club in Ibiza.
On the latest episode of The Rest is Football, the elder Lineker brother told a story about when Wayne caddied for him at a golf event.
"I played in a pro-am, I was lucky enough to play with Seve Ballesteros," Lineker revealed.
Micah Richards butted in at this point, asking who the late Ballesteros was.
Alan Shearer shook his head at this point, fuming: "What have you just said?"

After listing off some of Ballesteros' incredible accomplishments, Lineker, 62, then continued: "My brother was caddying for me because he wanted to meet Seve as well.
"So we get to about the tenth hole and it's par three and I hit the ball and I hit it right into a bunker.
"And Seve didn't hit a very good shot and actually finished just short of the bunker that I was in.
"We get down there and it was my shot first. So I go in, hit a bunker shot, managed to get it out okay – wasn't a great shot but didn't matter.

"And I walked out the bunker, my brother, who could be a bit cocky at times, he goes 'oh so you want me to rake the bunker for you, do you?'
"I go, 'well you are the caddy.' We had a big gallery there following us around and he was playing to the crowd.
"And as he started to walk into the bunker he was giving it 'oh he's a big superstar now, me raking the bunker'.
"He accidentally kicks Seve's ball into the bunker."
Shearer said "no way, oh my god" while Richards howled with laughter.
With a smile on his face, Lineker continued: "Seve just killed him, it was beautiful."
To the devastation of the golfing world, Ballesteros died in 2011 aged just 54 after suffering with a brain tumour.
During his incredible career he won five majors, while also starring at many editions of the Ryder Cup.
