Ivan Toney poses with Wayne Lineker and EastEnders legend Dean Gaffney as Brentford star spends time in Ibiza during ban | The Sun

BANNED Brentford striker Ivan Toney has been snapped alongside Wayne Lineker at an Ibiza beach club.

The 27-year-old scored 21 in 33 appearances for Brentford last season before he was hit with an eight-month ban for betting.

He was also diagnosed with a gambling addiction after admitting 232 offences.

Toney is now prevented from playing until January 16 and is unable to train with his club until September.

The ban infuriated both Bees boss Thomas Frank and England manager Gareth Southgate.

Then, to add further salt to his wounds, the Premier League’s social media team then appeared to erase him from a recent video showing last season’s greatest goals.

But the England international has seemingly shrugged off that snub while he enjoys himself on holiday on the Spanish island.

He posed alongside Lineker at O Beach Ibiza, with the pair also standing alongside legendary Eastenders soap opera actor Dean Gaffney and beach club owner Tony Truman.

Toney was wearing a plan white vest and shorts accompanied with a backwards cap and a chain around his neck.

It was Lineker, brother of England legend and Match of the Day host Gary Lineker, that shared the photo onto Instagram as he captioned it with: “Stand up Gaff.”

It comes after FIFA 23 also recently removed Toney in the latest update to leave supporters outraged.

Toney recently revealed that his “biggest punishment” was worse than the ban as he slammed it as a “spiteful” decision.

His charges related to a four-year period between February 2017 and January 2021.

That was when the striker was playing for Scunthorpe and Wigan – on loan from Newcastle – and subsequently Peterborough and the Bees.
