JAMES McCLEAN was held back by staff after clashing with fans during Wrexham’s FA Cup win over Mansfield.
The incident occurred after the Hollywood-backed Welsh side booked their place in second round with a 2-1 victory on Saturday.
Goals from Sam Dalby and Paul Mullin sealed an away win for Wrexham, who are owned by movie star Ryan Reynolds and comedy ace Rob McElhenney.
But the FA Cup tie ended in ugly scenes as McClean became embroiled in a furious row with Mansfield supporters.
The former West Brom man, 34, could be seen waving his arms at a group of fans at the final whistle.
McClean, who joined Wrexham from Wigan over the summer, appeared to be furious as he engaged the supporters.

The Irish winger indicated for them to come on the pitch as he headed towards the tunnel.
And McClean had to be held back by his own staff as some fans attempted to cross the barrier dividing the stands from the field.
Security rushed towards them, ensuring they remained in their seats.
At the same time, McClean was ushered down the tunnel as he continued to gesticulate.

It is unclear what prompted the midfielder to see red.
McLean has previously been jeered by fans for refusing to wear a poppy.
The Last Post was played before Mansfield’s defeat to Wrexham in honour of Armistice Day on November 11.
But there is no indication this was behind the clash between McClean and the supporters.
Twitter reacted in hilarious style, with one user saying: “Thos fans look ‘ard.”
