The Reds are currently on a pre-season tour in Singapore, and on Wednesday, suffered a last gasp 4-3 defeat by Bayern Munich.
The Bundesliga champions snatched the victory from right out of the clutches of the Premier League side, with Josip Stanisic scoring in the 80th minute to level the scores at 3-3.
With just minutes left on the clock, 20-year-old star Frans Kratzig thumped a shot from outside the penalty area in the 91st minute of the game, to see the Merseyside outfit concede the defeat in the dying embers of the match.
In fact, it was the second time during the game that Liverpool had let the lead slip, with Bayern Munich going on to secure the Singapore Trophy.

Meanwhile, a video has been posted on Twitter showing the manager getting off the LFC team bus, before walking over to sign a few autographs for several Liverpool fans.
The German manager walks over to the supporters and can be overheard saying: ‘Very quick. I don’t have time actually.’
The supporters hand him a marker pen and present him with a Liverpool top to sign, but they appear to drop the shirt as Klopp goes to inscribe his signature on it.
‘And you have to hold the f***ing shirt,’ Klopp says as the fans drop the jersey, while looking at them nonplussed.
‘Sorry Klopp,’ they can be heard saying to the Liverpool manager.
The Reds are set to return to the UK in the next week ahead of their next pre-season friendly against SV Darmstadt 98 which will be played at Deepdale on August 7.
They kick start their Premier League season away to Chelsea on August 13 but Klopp will have lots to reflect on ahead of the first game of the new season.
Speaking on the match, the German manager said that despite the loss he saw plenty of positive performances from his team.

‘We scored really good goals in the first half as well – so, Diogo’s pass and quick awareness and reaction to Cody, fantastic.
‘We had a lot of really good, good moments where we showed what is possible. But in other moments – that’s how it is, and it’s good because we will not be as tired during the season like we were today – there will obviously be moments where we feel the intensity and then you have to still make the right decisions.
‘And for that feeling that you get punished when you don’t do that, that’s part of the pre-season experience.
‘And that’s why maybe if you give me another hour then I will see it as a really good lesson and maybe I will be even happy that we made the mistakes today and not in 10 days. But in the moment I still work on that.’
