Political journalist Steve Kornacki is taking a deeper dive into sports broadcasting, as his recently announced deal with NBC Sports has him as a regular analyst on NFL football shows – "Football Night in America" and "Sunday Night Football" – Tokyo Olympic Games coverage and Triple Crown horse racing events.
He'll also be a key part of NBC's Super Bowl coverage in 2022, according to the deal reported by The Los Angeles Times.
The 41-year-old Kornacki is best known as the national political correspondent for NBC News and as MSNBC's election coverage map analyst. He previously was the multimedia anchor and data analyst for much of MSNBC's "The Place for Politics," while making guest appearances on the network's popular shows.
