Report: Harry Kane tells Tottenham he wants to leave team this summer

Soccer star Harry Kane wants out of Tottenham.

Kane told his Premier League team he wants to leave the club this summer in a face-to-face meeting with chairman Daniel Levy, according to an ESPN report.

The 27-year-old Kane, one of the best strikers in the sport, told Levy he prefers to remain in the Premier League. Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea are all courting and interested in Kane. He has three years left on a contract that pays him more than $284,000 per week, according to ESPN.

Tottenham's most recent setback — when the Spurs lost the Carabao Cup final to City 1-0 at Wembley — could be a hint to Kane's frustration. Coach José Mourinho was fired shortly before last month.

Kane also is the captain for the England national team. Neither Tottenham or England have won a championship with Kane.

Kane is one of the best scorers in professional soccer, having tallied career 165 goals with Tottenham.
